New steering committee to update Naples Joint Comprehensive Plan

On May 10th, 2021, Naples Village Mayor Brian Schenk announced on the Village of Naples, NY Facebook page that the village was in the process of updating their Comprehensive Plan, calling it “the roadmap for our future!”

Schenk said that after soliciting participation from the community in mid-April, a steering committee of roughly 45 people had been established, consisting of four groups: Naples central school (students), Naples business owners, residents and local government representatives.

Schenk also recommended watching for a survey with important directional questions to be launched, and encouraged participation. “Every voice counts!”
