In Memoriam Gregory Evan Rischpater (1972-2021) By Contributor July 7, 2021 0 Gregory Evan Rischpater, 49, of Naples, New York, passed unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday, July 4th, 2021. Greg is survived by his family of three loving sons, Anthony Rischpater, 26, Travis Rischpater, 21, and Evan Rischpater, 14, his partner of more than twelve years Toury Bradley, her children Arland and Addriena, his parents Evan and Patricia Rischpater, sibling Matt Rischpater, as well as close friends who have been by his side since early childhood. Greg was born on May 16th, 1972. He was raised in Naples, New York. As an adult, he chose to settle down and raise his own children in Naples and the surrounding Finger Lakes Region. During his youth, Greg developed a close-knit group of friends, he maintained those friendships throughout his life. He worked at Frontier Communications Corporation as a Senior Engineer for twenty-four years. Greg loved camping and outdoor recreation, among his hobbies, he was an avid hunter, an exceptional bowler, and NASCAR enthusiast, he shared these experiences with Toury, Anthony, Travis, Evan, Arland, Addriena, and his close friends. He served as an active board member for the Corning United Soccer Club. Greg was a perpetual fixture on the sidelines of all the kid’s games, from baseball to softball, bowling, basketball, and soccer, encouraging, coaching, and passionately supporting all the kid’s endeavors. He will be dearly missed. Above all Greg will primarily be remembered as a loving and devoted partner and father. The news of his passing has been a shock to his family and friends. Due to the circumstances of his untimely death, a small private ceremony will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg’s name may be made to the Corning United Soccer Club or Naples Youth Soccer Program.
